Rihanna has an urban gangster look while Lindsay is rocking her inner hippie and cute Kim is prepping it up for the south of France. Just to get your minding thinking a little more! So I love looking at pics of people who go to music festivals especially the England and California ones. All the girls seem to still have great style but make it practical for the outdoor, grass or mud environment. If you plan on going to an outdoor music festival this summer or even just a field park with all your friends, here are a couple of ideas. These looks are also pretty standard for any summer day too. So get out there and plan yourself your own festival in the field!

Metallic... its intense, yes. BUT it also makes your confidence look intense. I love Kim's dress! Those metal shapes around her chest are unbelievably amazing! So unique and sexy. The metallic brings out the sexiness in any women. Don't want to get a whole metallic dress, try a metallic top with dark skinnys or metallic makeup with an all black outfit...... I sense sexy in all those options. Make sure the metallic is the focal point of your look not just something minimal like a bangle. That's just boring. GO metallic crazy!

The Impressionist- Signature Look

So this is it! All I need... jeans... a belt and a tee! Thats my signature look this summer. It sounds boring, I know. But its actually a very flexible outfit. Its like a base look then you just need to add to it. Here I paired it with a gorgeous square silk scarf which I'm in love with (from Winners). I also just add a silver necklace to the base look... or even a shrug or short sleeve sweater or suspenders. I also change up the colour of my tee. But this is what I feel super comfortable and confident in, so I do it. And my favourite tees are from Smart Set... they are the best!

I thought I needed to post this trend since everyone is doing it. I feel as though it is a bit overdone. But you be the judge, if you look good in them... wear them! I actually really like Kim's pair- cropped ripped jeans. They aren't just the typical ripped skinny jeans. If you want to buy a pair, hold on to them. I think they would be great for the Fall months... with cute boots and long cardigans. So try it out!

Bright dresses!!!! Always acceptable during the bright summer months. And a perfect addition are nude shoes like Blake and Kim are wearing!! Your dress is already very vibrant, you don't need to wear matching shoes or even black ones.  And the combo of a bring dress and nude shoes always equals...... the look of dark tan skin!!! 

The New Lauren- Lo Bosworth

Lauren Conrad is off The Hills but there is still one other Lauren who is providing us with good fashion inspiration. So on the next season of the hills, take note! Her style if very clean and classy. You wouldn't see her in any outrageous fashion. Chanel and Louboutin all the way!

You can never go wrong with a scarf, whether it be a short sheer knotted one, a silk triangle shape one, a long cashmere scarf or texturized one with tassels. They all add a little extra something to an outfit. Every season you should add a new scarf to your wardrobe. For the summer I would suggest a bright long scarf or a medium square silk scarf. Winners always has a large variety. Thats where I buy all of mine! They are super easy to accessorize with. I love putting together a very casual and simple look (i.e. white tee and jeans) then add a scarf . It makes  you look so well put together and posh. I am currently in love with a bright red pashmina I purchased but will have to keep it in the closet til the Fall because the weather seems to finally be getting warm.

As you can see I provided you with a glimpse of the many ways to do a cut-out dress.  And I'm sure there are tons more! Not sure if I like Fergie's outfit but Kristen Cavallari and Leighton look stunning. So its ok if you find and like a dress with holes in it! Just make sure your skin isn't falling out of the holes and they are done in a classy way.

Fringe in action! Like an early post on adding fringe to your wardrobe, I found this awesome dress and showcased my inner fringe! I found this number at Urban Behaviour. I am not a frequent shopper there but they have stepped up their fashion game and are showcasing the latest styles. So next time you go out shopping, don't just hit your usual favourite stores. Try places you don't shop in... you may just find a hidden gem.

I am in love with Victoria's outfit! Keeping her usual sophisticated style with a dash of casualness (jean shorts). I will definitely be trying out that look. I'll let you know how it works out. Lauren is also showing off her legs with that pair of super skinny jeans and those great platform sandals. And then we have Hayden dressed all in nude colours. Those shades will highlight  your legs and make your skin look sun kissed! We all want that :) So bring out your confidence and show off those legs!!

The Impressionist- Ruffles

So through the poll, I got the feeling that people wanted to learn more about me and wanted more celebrity style posts. I will definitely start doing more of that. So here is my first post- the impressionist in fashion action! I just posted that silhouette on ruffles... created the images a couple of weeks ago when I was inspired by a photo from vogue with a gorgeous ruffle dress... and I just realized I wore a ruffle dress for my grad yesterday! Here it is- a soft touch of ruffles along the top of the dress. And I will be posting a pic of my signature look for the summer soon. I just need a good pic of it. What's a signature look, you say? Its a go-to look whenever you don't know what to wear. You feel comfortable and confident in it and never get sick of it.

RUFFLES and lots of it! I put together outfits that had a combination of pieces with ruffles like shoes, shirts, skirts, dresses. Go for it, wear ruffles... just make sure there is only one piece that really stands out.  I don't want you to be on the worst dress pages of Us Mag. So just think ruffles in moderation! 

Ashley Tisdale- On a Style Streak!

After losing those bleach blonde locks, Ashley's style has gone from Sharpay pink Juicy suits with uggs to a hot fashion forward women. I love the first outfit: graphic tee, black mini with a long sweater. It could be a scandalous, evening appropriate outfit but with the addition of the cotton sweater, it makes the look more casual. And those shoes! mmm. So Ashley, keep that great style going! We love it. Keep inspiring us!
