Just a little dose of celebrity style. I am not a huge fan of Blake but I do love those leggings! And Whitney with fringe... she always knows what's hot. Kim and Reggie are always looking good... her jumpsuit is super cute. Ed or should I say Chuck is looking sexy as usual. I am used to him in tailored suits but this casual look is great. I also love that he is wearing some simple jewellery. You don't see that a lot with guys but they should all try it out. And then we have Shenea... I like the dress and wide brown belt combo but I'm not sure about the clogs. Everyone has their own style and she can pull them off, so go for S... be you!

Men, take note!- Chris Pine

CHRIS PINE...... not much else needs to be said there. He is gorgeous and knows how to put an outfit together. From my research on him, he loves wearing button down shirts or just plain white tees with a cardigan(if its a little breezy). And jeans all the time; he goes for the straight cut jeans, not super skinny. So boys, just keep it plain and simple. No need for these crazy graphic tees or super tight jeans. Basics are always in style!

I am in love with Hilary's look, especially the yellow silk scarf. It adds a kick to the basic backdrop of a white tee and skinnies. And I love the fact that she paired the outfit with nude heels and not gladiator sandals or flip flops. With Victoria, she loves the basic colours like black and white. But she's able to add some texture and shine with the sequin pants, to a would be boring outfit. Also, you hardly see her with tons of jewellery... sweet and simple. I love seeing what Whitney is wearing these days. I feel that she always brings a fresh insight into fashion, not just another celeb cutout. We haven't seen a lot of the jean jacket but still one of my fav. staple items. Thanks Whit for the breath of fresh air!

We can finally feel the weather heating up! I'm sure a lot of you hit up your cottage this past long weekend. The weather wasn't that exciting but the 4 days off were! Well, I'm here to help you get prepared for the next long weekend or pretty much any nice weekend, with how to dress when lounging around the cottage, overlooking the peaceful lake. These outfits may seem extreme for your cottage but look at the larger picture- tanks and shorts, patterns, the colour combos, accessorizing... I am here to spark an idea through my silhouettes, not for you to go out and buy the exact outfits I post. How will you interpret Cottage Life?

Herve Leger was very popular in the 80s and recently back on top again with the help of BCBG designer Max Azria. Known for its signature bandage dress, Herve Leger has made women feel super sexy in its dresses. This season the label has found another way to make the body look even more feminine and curvy- the bandage dress with inserts (see below, white bandage with lime inserts). The label is very popular among celebrities such as Kristen Stewart, Sophia Bush, Hillary Duff, Jessica Stoup, Victoria Beckham, and Lindsay Lohan.

I will call this one the Marc Jacobs look- pure confidence

New York City brings the world great style and true inspiration. My guest blogger, gossip girl C. took a trip down there to see what the streets of NYC had in store for the rest of the world. As documented through the photos, there is not just one inspiration to each outfit. Instead, a mixture of classics and colours; masculine pieces with soft ones; or a mix of textures and patterns. How can you showcase your inner new yorker style?? Be creative with your outfits. Put on one of your favourite outfits but add something different to the mix- A bright oversize silk scarf, bright tights or socks, converse sneakers with a feminine dress or tunic, or textures like leather, sequin or suede. Step out of the box but still make sure you feel comfortable and confident!
