First Hand Fashion- Toronto Fashion Week

Just wanted to share with you all, some Toronto Fashion week photos courtesy of my friend Dorothy. She participated in the event and got some great shots to share with us. Those first 2 photos are amazing. Love the feather dress and all the models on the runway. I should probably try to attend a show during the next fashion week, get the real experience. Enjoy the pictures, and fashion through the eyes of us real people (The models do seem way taller!). Thanks Dorothy!!!!!!!!!!! You're the best. Great shots!

The Silhouette- Casual Cruise

Starbucks To Go
Yorkville Martini
A Pint of Patio

I always love to emphasize that casual doesn't always mean sweats and lululemon. A great pair of stretchy jeans and a tee can also do the job. Here are a couple of looks for getting drinks with your friends during the beautiful summer months. Flats are always casual and comfortable but a hedge can also work well. They don't hurt your feet as much as heels would, because of the extra support. So make sure to get a great hedge to add to your wardrobe, as its a good alternative to the flat. Also I love the whole dress, cardigan combo, where the dress and cardigan end at the same place. It can really dress down your dress and make it great for a daytime outing. Nude colours or sheer fabrics for the cardigan are your best options. This last look is pretty much my go to look. Its soo easy and classic. You will never look out of place and always look in style. I would usually wear a neutral purse but its all about some colour this season so I had to change it up.

Style Trend: Black on Top

Jennifer Lopez
Kim Kardashian
Victoria Beckham

First of all, let me just say that these are my favourite women of all time. At some point in my life I wanted to JLo, Kim and Posh. I found these great pictures and had to share. Common feature, all black on top. Black is just a sexy colour, its great all year round. And black leather always spices it up. Throw on a black tanks, skinnies and you're ready to hit the town, day or night. So just because bright colours are in for the summer, doesn't mean your blacks need to get dusty in the back of your closet.
